I currently work as a product designer on a larger design team at Vetsource. In this position, I navigate through the UX Design and Research processes from start to finish. I manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain constant commmunication with product managers, project managers, designers, and engineers to ensure design speed and quality.

Graduate Student Instructor
August 2021 - May 2022
During my one-year Master's extension, I worked as a Graduate Student Instructor for SI 339: Web Design, Development, and Accessibility. In this position, I was able to teach small discussion sections as well as assist in leading large lectures to over 250 students total. I worked hard to educate students on the importance of accessibility in Web Design while teaching them HTML, CSS, and JavaScript along the way.

Junior Product Owner Intern
May 2021 - August 2021
I was a remote Junior Product Owner Intern working with products in the online experience. Pendo, a data collection and visualization software, was where most of my summer was focused. I created visualizations and dashboards for employees to see where products needed areas of improvement. Lastly, I worked with our Pendo support employees to ensure that the application was being used to the best of Labcorp's ability.

For four consecutive semesters, I worked as an Instructional Aide for the University of Michigan School of Information, in which I graded assignments and performed other tasks for SI 110: Introduction to Information Studies. This position helped me become much more involved in the college that I currently attend.

SPQR Research Laboratory
Web Design/Marketing Intern
July 2020 - December 2020
During the summer of 2020, I worked as a remote Web Design and Marketing Intern with the SPQR Research Lab at the University of Michigan. In this role, I updated and re-designed pages on the SPQR website, as well as some outside pages on other portfolios. My main goals were to make the pages more visually appealing and accessible for everyone to use, using axe, wave, and w3 accessibility measures.

June 2019 - August 2019
In my third year with the Kellogg Company, I demonstrated my user research and client management skills by working on teams of interns and full time employees. Some of these projects included designing and testing a free career assessment tool for a local non-profit to use during their summer learning program. I also worked with a client team with Kellogg and non-Kellogg employees to find devices for efficient truck shipping monitoring.

During my second year with the Kellogg Company, I used SAS and Tableau to clean, sort, and make visualizations for large data sets to present to the rest of the company. I also worked with a team of interns to set up and distribute iPads to students with a local non-profit to aid them in their studies.
